Worst websites

 Worst Website

Above is a screen grab of what i think is one of the worlds worst websites ever to be made, when opening this website your ears are surround with the sound of a very annoying song and this song continues the hole time you are on the website.
Its not just the music that ruins this glorious website but it is all the animations that are included within the webpage, the web page is filled up with highlighted boxes too but the designer has used every single colour and this makes the website look horrendous, this website has been purposely made like this to demonstrate some of the worst websites around.

Brighton Trip

                                                                          Brighton Trip

On the 20th of september graphic design level 3 class went on a trip to Brighton, I happened to be one of the students that joined the trip.
This trip was to have a look at the Brighton art fair and also to see some of the pieces of work that Jon Burgerman produced.
The Brighton art fair was held at the Brighton dome and contains the work of hundreds of artists. The room was full of rows that was filled with all different styles of art.
There was one picture that stuck out to me this image is displayed underneath.

This is the image that stuck out the most to me, this is because the character spiderman has always had a massive part in my life, he has always been one my favourite characters of the marvel world, ever since I was a child this friendly neighbour hood spiderman has been my favourite character. I always like how this image is quite random with the Budweiser truck in the background i find this quite comical, out off all the images placed within the fair this was my favourite.

The image above is another picture i found quite interesting this is because the artist has managed to make the water above the person look incredibly real this is image is so detailed, I found it like looking at a photograph.

                                                                           Graffiti Art

Above are some examples of the graffiti art that is placed around Brighton, the reason I have included these into the blog is because I found these really good, there is a mass of detail included in these images and that is why i liked them they all display really interesting scenes and items.
The colour stands out allot to me and I feel the colour is one of the biggest parts of these images and I find all the colours to be perfect and fit well with the images.

Batman and Cat Woman

When A Cat Wont Leave A Bat

This is a image of the Famous Cat Woman sided with the dark Gotham hero known as Batman, like a few other peaces of work that I have done this to was based on the video game Batman Arkham City.
This image itself was one of my first proper attempts at drawing a woman, in this image I wanted to show off the two different personalities between Cat Woman and Batman I wanted the viewer to see that Batman takes his work allot more seriously than the fine looking Cat woman.
This image was done by using dark and light shades of pencils. Cat Woman's goggles was done with a red shaded coloring pencil.
The image was then edited on a program i use on my laptop to edit photos to give it more character.

Anti Venom

Anti Venom

Here I have produced a image of the Villain called Anti Venom, this creature is one of the many foes that tried to take out the Famous friendly neighbor hood Spider-man.
This villain is not a well heard of character but he is meant to represent a Anti version of the well known Venom that on many accounts has appeared in the Spider-man stories.
I produced this image buy drawing out the main parts with a light shaded pencil and then going over it and drawing the details with a black fine liner.

Joker Was Here

The Joker Leaves His Mark

This peace of work that I have produced here is something that I am most happy with, I got the idea for this creation from the famous DC movie Batman Dark Knight.
I wanted to create a peace of work that showed off the well known villain known as the Joker, the Joker has always been one of my favorite characters from the DC stories.
To create this I first stuck on a page a collection of playing cards and made sure the top card showing was the Joker card to identify the villain at fort, I then drew the blood on the page using felt tip pens and a black fine liner I used the same materials for the writing.
I then drew random red marks on the cards and pressed my finger on the mark to create finger prints.
I covered the page in sellotape to stop any smudging.

Marvels Avengers

                                                            Drawn Avengers

This is a drawing of the famous Marvel team known as Avengers, Marvel stories have always had a massive input of my life, they have interested me a great amount and the majority of my art work is focused on these fictional stories.
This image was drawn using a light pencil and was then marked with a fine liner to make it stand out, at first I was unsure weather to color it, but looking at it in just the black fine liner made me notice that the drawn Iron man was hard to see against Captain America so this is when I decided to color it up, I was happy with the outcome that the color made I feel it brings a old school comic book style to it.
I feel some of the proportions to this image don't quite look right, so I felt this let the image down a huge amount.
To finish off this image I gave it a few finishing touches on a photo editing program that I use on my laptop, this made the image more sharper and made the colors stronger.

Jango Fett

                                                                  Jango Fett

As I am a massive Star Wars fan and that the famous bounty hunters known as Jango Fett and Boba Fett happen to be some of my favorite characters from the fantastic sci-fi films, I decided to have a go at drawing Jango Fett, I drew this using colored pencils, I took a risk at using these as I always try to avoid them as they are not my favorite art tool, but I feel I coped very well.
Getting the proportion of this character was not an easy task but after many attempts i finally found my self happy with how it looked.

Venom and Carnage

                                                      Symbiote Fight Off

This image is of Spider-mans two most famous arch enemies that he has fought under many accounts.
These two characters are known as Venom and Carnage, I wanted to produce a image of these two because growing up i found these villains of Spider-man the most interesting i think this was because they were out of this world.
This image took a fair amount of time to finish dew to all the detail but creating it has been a very exciting rush.
Once I had finished the sketch I was able to sharpen up the image using my laptop, I feel this gave the image a nice finishing touch.

God of Thunder

                                                                Thor Drawing

The drawing here has been focused on the famous Marvel character known as Thor.
This has been my first attempt at drawing the fictional hero, I based the drawing on the old school version and by this i mean the cartoon sketches.
I used a range of cross hatching for the shaded areas, i am quite happy with the outcome of this as it was my first drawing of the god of thunder known as Thor.

Johnny Cash Drawing

                                                       Johnny Cash Drawing

This is an image of the famous music writer known as Johnny Cash. His style has been a massive influence on my personal lifestyle. The music that was produced by Johnny Cash is my personal favorite genre, his alone I feel is the best.
Johnny Cash being my favorite music artist is why I chose to draw him. To create this image i used a soft pencil to get the shape started then using fine liners and felt-tip pens: I was able to bring the whole image together by using a range of tone to indicate his expression.

Batman and Joker

                                                           Batman and Joker Fight Off

The image that I am representing here is a piece of work that I have recently created. I got my insperation for this image from a Xbox 360 game that happens to be one of my favorites known as Batman Arkem City, the art work within the game I found most inspiring, to produce this image I used a HB pencil for the darker areas and a 2B for the lighter areas of shading, Batman has always been one of my favorite comic book characters so this was another reason for me producing this, I am very happy with the outcome of this image.

Welcome to my blog this is where i will be posting all my favorite designers and all my favorite pieces of work.

Recently I have been researching into the D&AD and trying to find out what it is all about.
The D&AD is made up of all different universitys, they all come together to show off there best work, by doing this it shows all the skills that these universitys have, by doing this it helps the public deside witch uni would be better to go to and witch one represents that person the best.
I feel this is a very good way to show of the universitys best advantages.
I think this technique will go very far and will help a lot of people looking to go on to uni.
D&AD is based on brick lane, brick lane is full of images going down the buildings that form brick lane i have images from my research to show you.
